Facials

Welcome to the new era of holistic beauty and wellness - a multi-sensory immersive experience, moving beyond simple skincare to incorporate ritual, texture, intentional touch, smell, and sound.

We use only quality skincare products hand selected from sources around the world for their ethical, sustainable, and nurturing properties.

All of our facials begin with a warm foot bath and tea or cacao allowing you time to unwind and relax into the treatment.

Benefits of holistic facials:

  • Increases circulation of the blood under the skin, allowing the skin optimal health and facilitating the renewal of skin cells.

  • Holistic facials focus on massage and lymphatic and integrative techniques to promote natural detoxification and better skin function rather than just addressing surface issues like standard facials.

NEW ADD-ON

Somatic Scarf Release & Tension Melt

15 mins | $35

Add to any facial

Before hands touch your face, we begin by soothing your nervous system into total stillness.

Using a soft, weighted scarf technique, gentle traction is applied to your neck and crown to soften tight fascia. This releases deeply held neck tension and signals your body to step into a parasympathetic ‘rest and digest’ state.

Pruning physical resistance creates room for skin and underlying muscle to become exceptionally receptive, setting the foundation for maximum absorption and elevated results during your facial ritual.

Nano Fusion Skin Needling

The new era of skin needling

This non-invasive skin treatment is designed to rejuvenate the skin by assisting in transdermal serum delivery.

Used to improve the appearance of dull and lacklustre skin, nano fusion skin needling evens out skin tone and texture, balances breakouts, and reduces pigmentation.

The difference? Zero downtime and no risk of bleeding or pain, yet it delivers amazing results.

It works by creating nanoscale channels in the skin allowing increased absorption of corrective skin serums.

The perfect treatment for uneven , dull complexion

  • Deep cleansing

  • LED light

  • Massage of the face, neck, scalp, and shoulders

  • Foot soak

  • High-performance hydration mask

Please note you will look flushed leaving the salon.  This is completely normal and expected and is a result of the dead skin cells being stimulated upwards. Your skin will calm down over the following 24 hours.

Frequently asked questions

What is a facial and why do I need one?

A facial is a professional cleansing, purifying, and beautifying treatment of the skin on the face and neck. Facials are the number one treatment performed by a beauty therapist and a good way for your therapist to get a good understanding of your skin prior to suggesting more specific treatments.

For most people, facials can be scheduled every four weeks, although your therapist may recommend a different schedule. There are many variations of facials based on different needs, as well as different lengths of time.

What shoud I expect when having a facial?

Facials are generally very relaxing and soothing. Your therapist will explain to you what the treatment steps will be. Be sure to communicate with your therapist during the facial if any product burns or itches, or if you need anything or have any questions.

I feel overwhelmed by the choices with skin care products, and I don't know what to choose!

There are a lot of products available on the market, and it certainly can be overwhelming, especially with the claims made by products. My advice is to try products during treatments or ask for samples, and make sure you are using the products correctly. It's important to see how they feel on your skin and have realistic expectations of the results you expect to achieve.

What are the differences between the supermarket brand products and salon bought products?

You will find salon bought products will be of a higher quality of products and will have a higher quantity of the active ingredients.  You can also benefit from talking to therapists in salons about your particular skin needs and receive professional advice.

While I do not believe in spending outrageous amounts of money on skincare, I do understand the costs of product development, sourcing products, ensuring renewable high-quality ingredients, and educating skin care professionals. When purchasing a new skincare product, consider where you are buying from, and if you are receiving professional advice along with it.
